In addition to being the departure point for the boat to the castle, the main pier is also the centre for fishing on Loch Leven. The recently opened Scottish National Angling Academy has a fully licensed bar with hot food and snacks also available. All are welcome to use these facilities in the main building while waiting for the boat to the castle to arrive at the pier.
