Beneficial to both the mind and body. The heat from the sauna improves circulation by dilating blood vessels, stimulates the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals, and flushes out toxins thereby cleansing the skin.

Hydrotherapy can be used to stimulate the immune system, improve circulation and digestion and encourage blood flow which can diminish pain. The movement of the water has a massage-like feeling which stimulates the touch receptors on the skin releasing tight muscles and reducing joint pain.

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment to give you plenty of time to change before your treatment, and we will ask you to complete a consultation form. Should you also like to use our spa facilities, we ideally recommend that you come along one hour earlier to enjoy the pool and sauna.
Note that this private estate is gated - we will provide you with the correct access information to the estate along with your confirmation details. Please do share this information with fellow guests.
We recommend that you leave valuables at home as we cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings. Note we are restricted with the size of our changing facilities and shower facilities due to the historic nature of the building. We do offer small locker facilities and and suggest to hang up coats in our entrance area.
As part of our commitment to health and safety, we may restrict access to the hydrotherapy and sauna facilities. This is to ensure all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. Use of the facilities is suitable for guests over the age of 16.
Cancellations received more than 24 hours before a booked treatment can be rescheduled at no additional charge. Cancellations received within 24 hours of a booked treatment will require full payment. Please note seven days’ notice is required to cancel a group booking of four or over. Non-arrival without notice will result in a full charge of treatments.
We can tailor our treatments to be suitable for you, after your first trimester. Please speak to one of our Spa team to advise you on treatment selection during this special time. We do not recommend the use of the hydrotherapy pool or sauna at any stage during your pregnancy.
The Coach House Spa has been created from the 17th century courtyard stables of the Estate and as such we are restricted with aspects of the physical layout of the building. There are no steps leading into the ground floor of the spa, but we do have various different staircases leading to the treatment areas and relaxation area which unfortunately do not have lift access.
There are also a few steps to get into the hydro pool and this area does have a low ceiling height, which can make access to the pool for some people with movement issues challenging. It is a decision for each individual whether the pool is suitable for their own personal use.
